My goals for the witches new year (Samhain)

I was inspired by Tiptoechicks new lesson video to give myself 3-5 new goals for the witches new year.

My goals:
1. To become physically more healthy
2. To become mentally more healthy
3. Improve my appearance
4. Keep on top of things academically
5. Focus more on my spirituality  

I am currently learning the tarot

I do a three card reading for myself everyday so I can become familiar and in-tune with the cards.

Healthy eating and the mind.

This is seems so obvious but most people tend to neglect the mind when it comes to weight-loss and healthy eating. It doesn't matter what diet plan you are on, if you do not focus on dealing with your mind you are likely to fail. Ask yourself, why am I not as healthy as I should be? Are you emotional eating? Do you lack motivation? Are you depressed?. I also think that spirituality can help someone with their mindset, for example positive affirmations.
This is something that has been on my mind a lot recently in regards to my own issues.
I become so focused on calories, simple carbohydrates, sugar etc that I neglect another important part of the process.

After listening to Mrs. Oddly's interview on Inciting A Riot (episode 54) it has made me want to look more in-depth into the tradition. I have heard about this tradition for quite a while but was unable to find many information resources. I shall keep everyone posted.
